Guaranteeing a child’s mortgage

With a high property prices young professionals will often find it hard to get any sort of mortgage at all.  This is because mortgage lenders will insist on a number of things before getting a mortgage, including having a high income that or a high deposit.  For young people at the beginning of their careers it can be quite hard to save the money necessary for a high deposit (sometimes as high as 20% of the value of the house) or to have the income that is necessary to qualify for a mortgage.
